Interesting plane and use.
That one departed from New Hampshire, turned right over my house in Sheffield, then down to Mildenhall.

Similar happened to me today. An A400M left Liverpool airport an must have only been a few hundred feet in the air, flew over my work.
They usually fly over my house at 30,000 feet so it was cool to see one so close.

I was watching this one as it went over me in south cheshire at about 2k feet then followed it on flightradar Did 2 touch and goes at Speke then flew up the Mersey at 600ft / 130kts. I was supprised how noisy the thing was.

There were two I believe. I was driving a train and seen one quite high, parked it where it needed to be then got out the cab to see the second ascending. It must have only just left the runway 30 seconds or so before I seen it.

I think it's a lot to do with the wheel load on their 727. Maybe.

Another interesting spot this evening. A Northrop Grumman RQ4 over the Black Sea and Ukraine.

Yep saw that earlier. Searching for ‘FORTE’ shows them up if they’re flying.

They have been coming back and forth regularly for the last few weeks.
I have seen 4 or 5 flights, usually late at night.

Yes, they pass few every day or so, making a pitstop usually around North England or Scotland on the way to the Med or ME.

And there is a pair of B-52's over Romania at the moment, as Grimm31/32, flying from their Minot AFB home, no doubt keeping their friends at Mildenhall busy supporting them.

Not so sure, found this that shows the arrival of 30 passengers from a NAS at Cardiff, could be to do with the upcoming deployment with the RN.

Bit off topic but I found this about a airfield in Wales, a man who has his own airport.

A Luftwaffe pilot mistook Pembrey for a French airfield and landed his FW190 there, undamaged.

The Sywell Grace 2 seat Spitfire just flew overhead in formation with the 4 Blades Extras. I think they’re doing a practice display judging by the noise.
