Hi,

What are the options for a slightly more raucous exhaust on a 2015 E63 Estate? It sounds great when giving it the beans but is a little too muted the rest of the time.

My Google searches seem to suggest that options are thin on the ground.

Cheers,

HMBB.

RADO downpipes - cat or not cat.

or

Custom exhaust with as much siilencing removed as suits your need.

Whereabouts (approx) are you based?

Got to be MSL Birmingham - Acid and the guys have modded many many AMG's, including custom exhausts by their inhouse team Torqueflow.

Was going to suggest them myself but felt that I was becoming a bit of a "fanboy" laugh

As suggested elsewhere, try replacing the central resonator with an H pipe initially. I did this on mine a while ago and, whilst no noisier inside the car, it made a substantial difference outside. If this is still not enough (it can always be reversed) then go for the Rados as mentioned above. I know a few who've gone this way, and it makes a massive difference. Don't go for Weistec downpipes unless you really hate your neighbours though. wink
