Just in the garden this afternoon for my boys birthday, and a clipped wing spitfire Flew over Cardington then looped around again very low. I know we get a lot of old aircraft over this way but is there any place I can find out where it was going and what it was up to?

Could it have been the first flight of the Shuttleworth Collections LF Mk.Vc AR501?

Spitfire 3W-P was performing over the Stour this afternoon - cannon armed, pointed fin - without googling, a Mk XIV?

Newport Pagnell had a 1940's weekend last weekend there was a fly over then, probably the same one.

Many thanks. Used to seeing old aircraft flying about, knew shuttleworth has as spitfire Vc under restoration but I believe it's only had it's engines running this week.

There's a bbmf hurricane going over willen lake at 14:52 today according to the announcer handling the dragon boat races.

Not me, but that a/c (TE311) is in my Late Father's logbook.

Technically it's not a Mk XVIe but a Mk LF XVIe wink

Was this the one that said hello to East Midlands Airport on Sunday 25 June and earlier over Sheffield?
