The static line up is incredible this year, I imagine some lucky folk who pick the right arrivals day (or are just there for pretty much the whole week anyhow) are in for a treat.

Its alright, there's usually two.

The hot rumour is that there will be two Ukrainian Flankers and a supporting Il-76.

Glad you had more luck than me....

I applied months ago, and finally got a "thanks but no thanks" yesterday.

I am doing some work via another route, at the weekend so will get to see some of the stuff, but if I had been relying on it see stuff and had to buy a ticket instead, I would have been buggered.

Not going to win any photo comps with this, but nice to see them nonetheless.

Can anyone point me to a rough flying schedule - I can't see anything in their website.

I arrived late 3 or 4 years ago and ended up trying to watch the Vulcan via my sunroof

I don't think RIAT ever pre-publish the flying schedule......?

Been a long time since I went, but flying usually started at around 10.30-11.00am back in the day....and I always made sure I was within a few miles of the entrance gate by 7.00am....!!

They won't officially publish one unless you pay the £12 for a programme. The app and commentary on the day will have 'key timings' but that's all you'll get for free.

However, the nice people on the various airshow forums usually get hold of one on Thurs/Fri and type them up, so it's not hard to find.

There's a few Facebook groups that are worth keeping an eye on.

Last time I was there it was 1985.
I think we went down Friday and sat on the top of some grassed up bunkers and watched stuff land

There was a b52 mural on a hangar as well
And I think the theme might have been skytanker 85
And oh yes it leathered it down as well, so much we sat under an arctic trailer to escape the rain
