Well, Well... I am a bit disappointed with the PH superyacht spotting community. I have just spent the full day on sail trials (0600-1800) on the largest private sailing yacht in the world and the largest sailing yacht ever built in Holland. We managed to get all sails up giving close to 3,000 square mtrs of sail in full view on our 3 carbon fibre masts and not one photograph on social media.
A strict 'Non-Disclosure' agreement stops me from saying more but come on... Keep your eyes peeled....

Can I also remind everyone that S/Y 'A' is registered as a 'Sail Assisted Motor Yacht' and NOT classed as a 'Sailing Yacht'.

A friend posted photos of it on Wednesday in Gibraltar. We’ve seen the 4 interior/onboard photos as they were posted in the super yacht thread.
I would ask how does it sail but I guess you’re not allowed to say!

And yes, fully agree about S/Y 'A', whereas Y712 is the real deal...

Sounds good, 12-15kts should be enough to get the leeward rail down close to the water close hauled - its the view down that sidedeck - almost the full length of the vessel, should make for some amazing photos, though I imagine it will feel quite exposed right up forward where the bulwark drops down to the deck... The one that most interests me is watching the Tender launch from the within the foredeck well...
And yes, fully agree about S/Y 'A', whereas Y712 is the real deal...
The two foredeck hatches are for the Rescue Boats (SOLAS requirement to be able to launch from both sides as we have Davit Launched liferafts). The tenders come out of the side just aft of the rescue boat hatches and Fwd of the bridge. And yes, fully agree about S/Y 'A', whereas Y712 is the real deal...
We have a 15mtr beam so will have to go a long way over to get the rails wet....
Still no photos of the sails up......??? I have some great ones taken from the bow and flybridge but due to my NDA!!!
Going out yesterday

Still nothing with the sails up......

Ah yes, got my tenders/rescue boats mixed up, they are huge hatches, or least was a while ago, hence the interest. The NDA is a pain, I am amazed that no one has grabbed a shot or 2...
