Like that, must be fun.
Judging by the taper in the topsails I assume they unfurl upwards is that correct?

No. They run along the yards, top and bottom and are pulled in to the main mast and furled on a central drum. Winched on the ends of the spars pull them out again when needed.

She is Flagged in Bermuda (Hamilton) so flies their flag. White ensign is for UK warships.
And members of the Royal Yacht squadron.

I thought the rules were that the yacht MUST be registered in the UK to fly the white ensign. If the yacht is foreign registered they are to fly the flag of the Flag State and when the owner (Member of the RYS) is onboard they fly the RYS Burgee.

Not sure what you are getting at... If it is aimed at me I don't care if you are interested in seeing the largest private sailing yacht in the world under full sail.

The post was in jest relating to the creased sails post.

I am very happy for you and your big boat; you have every right to be proud!

I'm relieved you're not on board that... ehmm... grey monstrosity biggrin

I must admit, I really like your office tough smile
As I'm too lazy to google that bit, who's built it? Royal Huisman?

Just one thing I don't catch is the black sails, I would find white far more elegant, but it's just personal taste wink

All of the starboard side crew cabin windows are underwater which makes for an interesting view for the crew.

Do you need an assistant / first mate as I’m fonding 65ft a tad too small looking at this and the picture of Maltese Falcon we have at work.
