Maybe best not to ask these Venezuelan soldiers about wifi in the kitchen either...

this has turned into something that i didn't expect.

Venezuelan sources may insist that trinidad is theirs but unfortunately their government didn't see it that way when negotiating. of course, down here, that means nothing but it is what it is. they may be conveniently ignoring that they already have the whole of the former spanish guyana which is far bigger than half of all the (old) guyanas combined ?.

history aside (and i do find it fascinating, no argument with ayahuasca and his friends at all) i had thought i might be posting something of interest to a few people but of no interest to me is the squabble that seems to have developed.

i didn't expect a p$ssing contest, standing or otherwise (yes that means you). can we now close this and i'll just go back to my sleepy, albeit ultimately, very frustrating, banana republic existence

quite frankly, if i wanted this kind of ste and the characters that go along with it i'd have retired in the UK

i'm out as some say. mods - please shut this one down

On the subject of American military kit turning up in unexpected places, two F22 Raptors landed at the local civilian airport here in Panama a couple of weeks ago, triggering all sorts of rumours. Apparently they had some kind of refueling problem and landed to fill up with gas.
