Hello chaps, wondered what your thoughts were towards these?
See the following in the classifieds and it looks tempting...

I know nothing about it, but that is awesome.. Especially if it makes the quoted power! Love that.. Just needs some decent wheels.See the following in the classifieds and it looks tempting...

Wonderful but does the ad text imply it's registered as a Cobra rep?? Not much left from the original Griff bar the body, anyway - could get one into future trouble as it won't fit the description of a historical vehicle... Anyway, seems like the total package with the thoroughly re-engineered chassis
-edit: Good price too, I'd guesstimate build cost to replicate at more like £40K...

Good point, I'll send the seller a msg to see re cobra.
If it is registered as a Griff, I wonder if it's cat c as it says in the blurb this was used as a doner. wouldn't put me off as long as there's a proper documented build.
I've heard of top cats racing doing similar conversions but never heard of sportmotive... Was wondering if anyone here had and if they were a good outfit? Their website looks pretty good.

I suspect the Cobra comment has nothing to do with the car other than a comparison of character
I don’t know this particular car but Sportmotive will have done a decent job on the conversion, they’ve done quite a few now
It looks great and you’d never buy a nice Griff and get it to that spec for that total cost. It just depends whether you want this or something more original, they’re both good options though
