Mach Loop Typhoon ‘Incident’.
Discussion
It's pleasing to see that 99% of the general comments on this (here, but mainly elsewhere) are shooting down the 'loopers' who took it upon themselves to attack this woman.
Sadly my few interactions with hardcore aviation photography enthusiasts have all been negative. Whether that's borderline abusive behaviour at the arrivals day at RIAT (I'll never go again) or the few who kicked up a big stink that the residents open day at our local military airfield wasn't open to them.

Isn't the Loop a training exercise? Or is it really just a bit of a jolly for the pilot?
Are we telling our front line pilots to not use the capability of the plane and 'train' different scenario's?
I don't know if a low level scoot through a valley with a high rate rolling climb is ever a natural evasive manoeuvre, but surely it's still within the bounds of 'getting familiar with the aircraft'.
Honestly, its like being given a Ferrari and told to not rev it past 2000 rpm, stick to the motorway and don't exceed the speed limit.

I'm a regular on the fightercontrol.co.uk forum and you would not believe how pathetic a lot of grown men are. There's a constant battle going on between 2 different groups of spotters/photogs at Prestwick with threats to 'do' each other in with some guy from Falkirk seemingly at the centre of it all. Then down at Mildenhall there are a number of private invite only FB groups who all try to out-do each other with the movements and 'heads ups' on stuff coming in, deliberately posting false info on FC to try to get those not in their private posse to make a wasted journey down. Also if you happen to be a member of one the private FB groups and repost something elsewhere, you get threatened with violence and are instantly banned from the group! This, from grown men typically in their 40-70s ! It's unreal.I doubt very much that this poor woman whose getting hate tweets and god knows what for posting this would have caused the pilot to get a bking..... it might have caused the RAF to comment on it, but I can't believe a multi-milllion pound typhoon is not covered with sensors and recording equipment which would have dobbed the pilot in anyway. I'm sure that if the RAF powers that be wanted too, they could run the whole flight back in VR.

Excactly.Just walts being walts, nothing to see here.
Hopefully the woman in question can laugh it off and see how sad these men are.
Personally I thought it looked like a low level abort with rolls to check under the nose.....
There was one individual who was quite vociferous in his comments on pp despite apparently not being a FJ pilot.
Unfortunately, according to this individual things MAY have escalated at command level.

I'm guessing you know very little about the subject. Are we telling our front line pilots to not use the capability of the plane and 'train' different scenario's?

Correct! That's why I asked. I'm not trying to start another thread war... i'm just surprised at the furore... Pilot does piloty things with a fully functioning, very capable aircraft and it seems like he's done something horrifically bad/sacking offence etc.....which I can't believe is true.
There are rules, and the pilots are trusted to follow them/stay in the spirit of them. Simple as that. Money is in very short supply for the forces, so whacking the 'burners in and having a laugh isn't acceptable.
Low level restrictions are there for a reason, as a look at fast jet crash stats from the 1980s would show.
Yes, it's a shame, but us tax payers can't be squeezed even more just so Binky can impress the crowds.

Impotent bullies.

It's not the pilot's aircraft,
I think you will find that, as an a/c Captain, the moment I have signed out on the MoD F700 (for the uninitiated the F700 is effectively the a/c's 'logbook' that records things like servicings, defects, limitations, fuel states, etc), then the a/c absolutely is mine. That is enshrined within Service Law - I am now solely responsible in totality for that a/c, its crew (if applicable), and its weapons (if applicable). That is not to say I may act in breach of Air Force Law, ASIs (Air Staff Instructions), GASOS (Group Air Staff Orders), the Station FOB (Flying Order Book), the Limitations in the Aircrew Manual, nor in breach of my Flight Authorisation (as recorded in the Flight Authorisation Sheets - MoD Form 3562) despite the fact that I might be a Self Authorising Captain. - The Fight Authorisation Sheets are a legal document, held for a minimum of 5 years, and are my Formal Authorisation to commit aviation. They will detail things like expected T/O time, sortie length, and just exactly what the sortie will entail.
