Didn't have my glasses on but just got back to the house for a quick glimpse through the binoculars.
He was having a great time, climbs, turns and rolls etc. Headed back North now, I'm sure it was a Hunter.

I think ZZ191 from HHA at Scampton was flying yesterday.

Ah, good, thanks for that, I was sure it was a Hunter but it's the first time I've seen one over here. Magical sight, normally it's just F15s here plus occasional Spitfire from Duxford.

be thankful, I miss those days, we get little military traffic over Beds, odd chopper, that's about it.

Lived in Bourne, Harriers, A10's, Tornado, Hawk, Phantoms, the odd Jag! Awesome days

Is there a website which lists this kind of thing? A Vampire (I think) flew over me near Lutterworth earlier this week, curious about where it was going.

It was just a coincidence that something on my social media feeds showed me a Hunter zotting around on the appropriate day in the right area of the country.

Given the time of year (lack of air shows) and how few airworthy Hunters there are in the UK now, I thought I’d risk sharing here.
