I know the answer to this before i ask, but I'm at my wits end.

I run a small company that sells on Amazon (europe). We started receiving complaints that a listing infringed a patent and we have to contact the rights owner. I have been here before and done this and resolved it.

This time the patent is for an answer machine and the patent belongs to a company in Japan. Strange when the Amazon product i am selling is a iPhone Case.

The contact details are for H&F Inc which seems to not exist and the email is Andrewnood@hotmail.com, No reply and quite clearly bks.

Through Wed/Thur and Friday more complaints came in for other ASINs. I had to make the decision to put the account on Holiday mode and the complaints stopped. I can see the metrics going down in seller performance and its only a day or so until the bots suspend the account.

Anyway, does anyone know how to get in touch with a human at Amazon, i have spoke to people in ireland in the past which actually could help compared to the india/american human robots you get on the phone.

Any help would be great as this seems to me like a malicious attack and don't get met started on how stupid the Amazons system is.

Anyone?

I wish I had advice for you, other than good luck actually speaking to somebody useful at Amazon frown

Not my area really but could you trade under a different name to shake them off?

I dont think so, The hoops you have to jump through to get an Amazon account and ours has been active for 8 years.

Really is mental that a random stranger can shut an account down whenever they want.

Sounds more likely to be a competitor.

Sadly your being targeted by a clued up competitor or someone with a problem.
This is why I always advise having a site as back up.
I have a template that’s worked on trademark / ip before I can send you but this sounds very malicious.

Hey DSliverpool, been reading your post for a long time on this forum.

I agree it is malicious. I tried to log into the hotmail email address for any clues and the recovery (backup email) address was a @163.com so it makes me think it is a Chinese actor. With VAT rules changing this Jan i think many Chinese sellers will not be happy.

We have placed the UK account on Holiday mode and we are in talks with people from Sellerengine.com ,I hate to pay someone for an email but i have noticed if you do not have the exact term that amazon require in the response it is straight to the gulag.

At the moment we are loosing £2-3k a day with this carry on with no way of speaking to a human.

Oh and we have a website, with the ultimate goal of dropping Amazon. Amazon are good for getting an ecommerce business going but plan to ditch them before they kill you.

Don’t pay sellerengine or anyone else they can’t do anything but offer an email that’s a poorer version the one I set up for the club members.

I share your pain OP, we have similar ongoing issues with Amazon. They just remove listings, often no real reason given, takes an age and money to get them back to the first page.

Amazon just don’t care about sellers, they want to milk as much as they can in fees and squeeze you until the cupboards are bare.

I hope you sort this out, it’s shocking how Amazon enable stty behaviour like this.

Hi, mickytruelove
I was wondering if you had managed to resolve this - I am getting exactly the same and im not getting very far with it... Any advice. My first email was on the 24th Oct - same email address, same company and for a patent I have nothing in common with (also iPhone case)
Thanks in advance
