One of us has had a brain fart. Entered service in 65, photographed in 66. What contradicts?

I wouldn't call 1966 "Early 60s".

"As late as the early 1960's, or indeed as early as the late 1960's"

Isn't the Mirage III a neat-looking aircraft?

The SAAF Museum had managed to keep a sole Mirage 111EZ airworthy up until about 2010, before lack of spares and lack of lifed ejection seat pyro's forced the aircraft's grounding. This aircraft was in fact the very first Mirage delivered to the SAAF back in 1961/2, and it flew as a museum display aircraft in a special black and gold scheme, and was known as the Black Widow.

The BBMF Lanc, Patrouille de France and the Red Arrows coming in hot - Leuchars airshow 1997, I think. It's a bit fuzzy zoomed in as it's a scan from a crappy camera.
