Slightly basket case operation. Was in the midst of being sold by the parent co to a 26 yr old bitcoin entrepreneur from IoM when funding fell through and Police called in.

Brought to you by the same people who convinced the local authority that they really did buy Carlisle Airport to offer commercial flight operations rather than build an effing great road freight depot on the cheap...

They used to be great when they were Aer arran

Their route from Manchester to Galway was great .. shame both the airline and the airport are gone now

I expect that they will be resurrected. Aer Arann has been through all sorts of permutations over its 50 year plus history. I remember when they operated Islanders -

We flew Stobart Air from London Southend International [sic!] to Croatia a couple of years go. Really good flight - well organised, good crew and very fair price. They stopped flying to Zadar by 2019 so had to go with Ryan Air - never again!

Shame SA have folded.

A lad I went to school with was flying for them, the staff have been absorbed into regular Aer Lingus operations I believe.
