A shame but by all accounts that one was complete scrap. And there is one in the country that will fly again. Thats more than can be said for a lot of other aircraft. The Victor will never fly again over here.

Was lucky enough to see a Vulcan at Leicester Air Show many years ago. 1991? Can still remember the noise it made.

Hello All.

I have just seen this Topic. Yes i agree it is very very sad to see.

This is why i own a 10' Scale model of this. Other than the Vulcan to the Sky and Dave Johnson (LMA Chairman)no one has Vulcans..

Take a look at the Site and sign up for updates on Events so you can see a realy nice scale model Vulcan.

Tip - before you search the entire internet for Vulcan references and join up to forums to promote your own business, get someone vaguely competent to proofread your website rolleyes

Tip #2 - spend some time reading the forums your searches direct you to, so that you find more current threads about, for example, XH558 rather than ancient ones about a scrapped aircraft.

Do you want to punch him or should I Mikey? That sort of welcome is exactly what's wrong with PH.

I think you owe the new arrival an apology FG.

Why, exactly? It was a robust put-down for sure, but unsolicited advertising is unsolicited advertising.

Adverts advertise businesses, that isn't a business it's an interesting website about getting a RC Vulcan flying. No different to all the people who have posted their own car websites, with photos of their cars on it.

Go to Southend, they fire up all four engines, on XL426, and go for a spin around the airfield, you can even pay to win the right hand seat for the taxi!

I agree. The new guy could have a lot to contribute but with a welcome like that why should he come back.

Sure, rip the regulars to bits but at least give potentially interesting new arrivals the chance to settle in smile

What are you going to do about it? Fold me in a particularly stubborn blanket with hospital corners and everything?

I may have to subject you to an 'apple pie' bed combined with a duvet half nelson. You'll be trapped for weeks.

Don't make me. You know I have the technology to hurt you.
