One thing that does make me chuckle though is that one of the noted points of the £xm boat was "GPS navigation".
Yes, I thought that too. hehe

Reminds me of an advert I saw once for a £100k 911 Turbo. It read something like "delivery mileage 911TT. X50 pack silver with black. Third brake light" hehe
Or the adverts for "The new MP3-ready Fiesta". The best thing they could find to market on is that it has a 3.5mm aux jack plug in its radio? confused

What's weird about that is that it's not available if you get an automatic. Why????

Did anyone do a post about the car falling into the dock... and then the crane coming to get the car out...

There is a similar set of pictures..

unloading a power boat, and it falls, but instead of plunging into the water, it lands on the nice solid quayside.

Wonder what the two guys in the last pic are saying to each other! The one in the white top looks to be having a graceful float around like nothing has just happenend.

I reckon they're working on their excuses yes

The station keeping system is called. DP..Dynamic Positioning..used by DSV' (Dive Support Vessel)& others in offshore exploration (as a matter of fact, I'm onboard one right now!!)
Reference signals, normally DGPS and two others (acoustic & tautwire) are supplied to several computers that control the engine management system on the vessel, allowing the vessel, through the use of thrusters and propellors to remain stationary at a given position/location.
Usefull but expensive..
