Wow, that's beautiful inside. Serious money to charter.
Really? I think it looks like the worst dregs of Harrods with added flashy tinsel crap.
It's completely 'dictator's palace'.

It's amazing just how tasteless many of these vessels are, actually.
Like the fevered dreams of a Russian Oligarch in the depths of a communist winter. Absolutely, inescapably awful.

Yeah, it feels a bit odd to be condescending about something costing so much, but it's sure as hell true that money can't buy class.

Not that I'd mind having the money!

I aspire to have so much money and such little taste smile

Are there any properly minimalist/clean/sleek/modern/unshiney interiors on any of these vessels?

Yes, plenty of classic 'club' interiors, minimalist chic, french colonial, etc. One of my early boats was very well received for it's interior. When you are paying an designer 20kEUR per m3 you can have it in which ever style (or lack thereof) you want.

I don't know if it's quite £60m, but step forward Shemara

This, IMO, is how to do it.

Just read about her - much better, interesting history, and relative chump change at £250K p/w smile

It's a lovely yacht with state of the art modern systems. Probably not 65M but worthy of the thread

Another thank you from me. That has so much more grace, style and class than the modern crop.

Shemara still has it. Good effort, just hold back on the Pledge a little, and it would be almost there for a modern one smile

The crew member who dropped a plate has to perform for the owner at the pole.
