Much as I like the UK - I would rather charter a boat in sunnier climes. £40k a week in Croatia and I would be considering a charter with some friends
Wouldn't we all, but given current travel restrictions, and as was referenced, he is tapping into the staycation market by having it berthed here. My understanding is many boats are been moved back from the med at the moment to try and at least get some time on the water this season, even it means battling tides and flippin cold sea temps!

The yacht that I have an interest in sleeps 8 and is £40k for the week, all inclusive. Food, Fuel and VAT. Tapping in to the UK Staycation market and running out of Gosport for the 2021 season.
Really? The Black Pearl is £40k per week?!Is that "staycation" prices?
Just looked at a photo of your sunseeker, very nice, shame it has to look out the window and see gospit though

Yes it is. And as I see you are on the IM thread you may know why she is called CHESS... I am not the beneficial owner but have an interest in the yacht.Edited by OtherBusiness on Thursday 25th March 09:33

Is this the first person on here who actually owns what someone might consider a ‘big’ yacht? Obviously not £60m but still amazing.
She isn't worth £60m but it is all relative....... I am not a billionaire. At over 24 meters she is officially a Superyacht. (And certainley a money pit). The good news is we have just had our first charter 'Staycation' booking for the summer.blueg33 said:
Stunning. I watch Aquaholic on youtube, he does video tours of yachts of all sizes. The Sunseekers are lovely as are Princess in that size range. Almost achievable for mortals like me.......
Nick (Aquaholic) is booked in to visit our yacht in May to carry out a wallk through after the yachts very extensive winter refit.Speculatore said:

Totally understand if you don't want to answer this on a public forum, but what's the theory behind chartering. Is it to make a (very) expensive toy a bit cheaper or can it work as a standalone business including the capital cost of the boat?Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
