Flying in to Oshkosk 2018, quite busy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWfOH2eWFMU
Nice few minutes at the Michael Beetham Conservation Centre RAF Museum Cosford. Showing the current state of work on the Vickers Wellington and Handley Page Hampden.

Interesting - thanks for the link.
The Michael Beetham facility opens its doors to the public a couple of times of year. One of the occasions is on the weekend of Scale Model World at Telford. Cosford is not far from Telford and the large gathering of model makers makes a nice audience for the work at Cosford. I've popped in a few times although not for the past few years. It's interesting to see the progress being made on the Hampden since my last visit.

That's cheered up a few of the guys I work with. Thanks for pointing SR-71 Pilot Maury Rosenberg talks about the one time he decided to request a "fly-by" over the Sacramento airport on his way returning to Beale AFB- where he was going to land.

If you remember Air Fete '88 and long for that carefree attitude to health and safety then Hungary is the place to go:

I can't remember ever seeing an aircraft displaying below the crowd line!
