I was at Coningsby when VeRA landed, then a few weeks later after rushing about to get all my jobs done I managed to get near the turf cutting ceremony at International Bomber Command Memorial to watch VeRA Thumper III and XH558 fly over in formation.once in a lifetime event, so pleased I saw it.
Always bring a tear to my eye watching the footage of the veterans.
