F111 Speed Runs - Williamtown Airshow 2010
https://youtu.be/sAevhXdx6Yg
Don't let Greta see that!

That was a brilliant display, i've seen an F1-11 do the same in the UK we were at the fence and he did a dump and burn at about 500 feet and you could feel the heat!
RAF Finningley 1977, Queens Silver Jubilee, On Parade with the Air Cadets, did a practise midweek then for real at the weekend, Once practise had finished we got to watch the air show practise and the F1-11 certainly warmed us all up as we were all lounging by the side of the runway. The mass fly past was something else with now many retired types and some of them new fangled Tornado aircraft.

Just seen few days ago Stratolaunch had its 3rd successful flight again. Must be wierd flying from off center by such a large offset. Would not like to land this in iffy sidewinds! I have fwd to launch there is tech chat early on.

Chicago : China Airways Cargo 747 gets lost in the snowy weather and collides with other cargo trailers.

If your stuff's delayed and the Evergreen is still at sea this is why.

One we have been waiting for, the history and unboxing (sort of, looking in the many boxes) of Kermit Weeks Avro Lancaster, the ex-Charles Church Lancaster that got damaged in the Woodford hangar collapse.

That will be mainly down to the lens being used. It is true that you can see some of the curvature of the earth from around 60,000 (12 miles approximately) altitude but it's fairly mild.

I remember hearing a ( no doubt apocryphal ) story about a pilot being asked why he'd requested assignment to Buccaneers - "I'm afraid of heights !"

Ken Norman on flying across the desert on Red Flag exercise. We were flying at 10 feet and realised we were leaving a rooster trail of sand. So we climbed to 20 feet and all was well.
