Aylesford - The Hengist - changed hands a couple of years ago and after a dip in service and quality it is now another high flyer. Chef takes his job seriously and often comes out into the restaurant to ensure happy customer.

The Swan In The Rushes - Loughborough, 1930's style town pub. Atmosphere is "different" but an undeniably stunning selection of Beers, Ciders and Whiskeys. Occasional live music, but really one for the Ale connoisseur! - Gravy
The Generous Briton, Ashby Road, Loughborough. The team that ran The Swan In the Rushes (above) have now moved here, hence it's no surprise it was just awarded the local CAMRA pub of the year. The beer selection and quality is simply excellent. No food aside from cobs, some locals left over from when it was a Carling-is-king pub - 0a.
