Any idea how many bottles we're expecting if there are 10 of us in? I may be open to sharing my slot on the unpeated bourbon.

Depends a lot on evaporation and how long we leave them.

Probably 50-60 bottles so 5 or 6 each, a manageable number!

But with 7 casks on the go...that's a lot of whisky!

Out of interest, which other distilleries do cask sales? Especially at a sub-£1000 level!

None that I know of

Pretty much all will sell a barrel, hoggy or butt but for a fair bit more than a grand.

I meant in a similar vein to what we're doing now. Buying a barrel of maturing spirit. I know Bruichladdich used to, but if others do then they keep it quiet!

I'm also now a wee bit gutted I didn't grab a bruichladdich cask while I could!

Is that right - I had 8 written down mentally last night when I was emailing Krall. In fact I did suggest it would be good to get a full updated list at the end of this - including fill date etc.
