You and 6th gear take very high end images. What camera is it? I have a Canon D SLR but can't be assed using it.
while I know that a large sensor and good glass can make for quality photos it always irks me a little when people go along this route and basically say 'what a nice photo, you must have a nice camera'. much like saying what tasty food, you must have a nice stove/expensive kitchenware
I didn't see the question that way. If I saw someone get good results doing something I was interested in I would ask too, while realising that they were putting a lot of effort into it and not assuming that they were getting those results because of their equipment.

I Would have to say that some of the photography I see on this and the 'photo of your dinner' thread is appalling. It's not just that they use crappy phones and don't hold the camera straight or ensuring the lighting is adequate, they don't even wipe the edges of the plate!

I'm intermittent fasting - I don't normally have breakfast. Making up for it with today's lunch.

My God, man. The size of the image is only matched by the number of sausages. Even Cotty might baulk at such a portion....or, indeed, perhaps not.

I would like to think I'd make a credible dent in that but, no.

Top work.

Thank you!

I grew up thinking scrambled eggs were revolting, but all those TV cookery shows taught me it's all in the cooking. Cooked correctly they are lovely.

Certain sausages don't have much/any added carb.

I wouldn’t be concerned by the carbs in sausages.

I agree - but there are certain "diets" that got for high protein/high fat/low carb.

So v high content meat sausage works - if you are into that sort of diet.

It works insofar as it’s not a carb. Atkins diet is proven nonsense. Low carb works but by high fat what works is fats from things like nuts, oils, avocado, dairy. But a snag is just wrong fats. And there is a st load of them. Not that I’m preaching. Anything in moderation. Just say’n smile

Fair point - atkins definitely works for a given period of time but no doubt you couldn't do it for much more than a few weeks.

I find if I miss off the obvious carbs (pasta/bread/rice) then the odd half decent sausage doesn't hurt. Much.

They're only very small sausages, compare them to the fork.

I always thought this thread was about food, if it isn't then it should be in the Photography section.

Thank you for your comment. I was responding to a point raised by another poster.

However, the title of the thread encompasses both food and photography so I don't think comments or queries about the photography aspect are out of place on this thread.

It's all about lighting and composition in my humble experience. Lighting makes an incredible difference.
