Just shows how tastes differ but I tried the draft after it won the best British ale or something. There must be something wrong with my taste buds because I thought it was dreadful!

(Plus to drink it in the brewery's own bars you have to
Put up with the most pretentious hipster fest on the
Planet)
I regularly go to the Tiny Rebel Bar in Cardiff (the other is in Newport). To call it a 'pretentious hipster fest' is way beyond the truth.

Can't remember the name on the box but butter chicken bbq wings are worth a go. £1.99 and I struggled to get through the whole lot licklicklick
trying not to jump on the bandwagon but if its the green/yellow boxes in the chiller section they're labelled as being from 2sisters and I'm avoiding where i can see a definite link to them.
I thought all the 2sisters stuff was off the shelves. So I read anyway.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned on here but the specially selected battered haddock/cod fillets are delicious lick

For some reason they are not listed on the Aldi website, but £2.99 in the seafood freezer section

I tried one of their new craft American IPAs yesterday, in a tin, Redwell or something, it was crap, I'll stick to the Liberty in future!

Also bought a 3 pack of sandwiches for the old fella that sits out the shop with his hat on the floor for coins... he seemed over the moon smile

Aldi are selling Sausages made with Theakston Old Peculiar ale at the moment, I did a cooked breakfast for 10 people at work this morning, and they were highly praised by all.

They're lovely. Cooked properly they're as good as any you can find in the usual ponsy burger outlets, IMO.

Aldi's poshest pizzas are superb.

They're all pretty good value actually, across the range.

Yep, we had the Specially Selected ham, mushroom, mascarpone and the spicy salami ones tonight, very tasty. Sour dough base which tasted lovely.

On a side note they had Dunkel Fester beer in, very nice, easy drinking for a darker beer. Used one for a slow cooker beef stew for tomorrow.

We cooked up these burgers during an early October BBQ and they were fantastic. I usually avoid ALDI/LIDL processed meats but these were really tasty and no chewy bits.

My local coop have recently started doing very similar pizzas in similar packaging just a slightly different shape for about £2 a pizza more.

is this a the miracle of Aldi doing something first and others taking note rater than LIDL/Aldi letting others develop products, show there is a market then undercut?

Nah, the Aldi posh (chilled) pizzas are a Waitrose rip. But, as well as being about half the price, the Aldi ones have a lovely, tangy, sourdough base, which, for me, beats the Waitrose one.

The ham and mushroom one is fantastic; sometimes I'll grab a pack of Aldi's piri-piri chicken pieces too, and slice them onto the H&M pizza for added bite and protein pig-out.
