Just shows how tastes differ but I tried the draft after it won the best British ale or something. There must be something wrong with my taste buds because I thought it was dreadful!

I regularly go to the Tiny Rebel Bar in Cardiff (the other is in Newport). To call it a 'pretentious hipster fest' is way beyond the truth. (Plus to drink it in the brewery's own bars you have to

Can't remember the name on the box but butter chicken bbq wings are worth a go. £1.99 and I struggled to get through the whole lot
trying not to jump on the bandwagon but if its the green/yellow boxes in the chiller section they're labelled as being from 2sisters and I'm avoiding where i can see a definite link to them.SpeckledJim said:

tried the £1.89 meat feast pizza from the chilled section in lidl. suprisingly good. need to try those large £3 square ones. they look nice.
Aldi's poshest pizzas are superb. They're all pretty good value actually, across the range.
On a side note they had Dunkel Fester beer in, very nice, easy drinking for a darker beer. Used one for a slow cooker beef stew for tomorrow.

They're lovely. Cooked properly they're as good as any you can find in the usual ponsy burger outlets, IMO.SpeckledJim said:

is this a the miracle of Aldi doing something first and others taking note rater than LIDL/Aldi letting others develop products, show there is a market then undercut?

The ham and mushroom one is fantastic; sometimes I'll grab a pack of Aldi's piri-piri chicken pieces too, and slice them onto the H&M pizza for added bite and protein pig-out.
