I love you Ian.
And I'm deeply in love with your Mogs!!! We lost our two girls about three years ago now and think we're about ready for another two or four :-)

Its the same at the branch of Sainsbury's I someteimes visit , especially the Mother/daughter combo, mother is like a wardrobe on legs and daughter is rapidly trying to emulate her. Heck, none of us are perfect, but some seem to have no pride at all.

Anyhow, a wine recomendation. Lidl do a Colambard Chardonnay, with a yellow lable, its either £3.89 or £3.99 a bottle. I expected vinegar when I tried a botle, but its not , its very quaffable, in fact its as goosd as many of the Sainsbury's TTD wines I've tried in the £6 bracket.
Don’t forget you’re all eating and drinking the same food from the same supermarkets as these intolerable fatties... wink

Aww Its nice to know you appreciate my pussy.
Kittens are one this Sunday coming. frown Not planning on another litter though or I’d have let you have a pick.

I’ve got guests at the moment one of whom is a big Waitrose shopper. I’ve introduced her to Lidl and Aldi and so far they’ve been a hit, she’s even on her second bottle of Lidl Vodka!

Here’s an attention seeking photo that was taken after I’d walked innocently around Stow-On-The-Wold and a few other Cotswold villages for the day. I have since kept this outfit particularly for Iceland shopping (no underwear) and the ocassional Aldi shop.

Point and laugh all you want. I think I’m a nice person and will even help you with your shopping and carry it to the car blah

(Probably NSFW or whilst eating your fat food)

Moving on from the best spoiler since the Sierra Cossie, does anyone else get fking infuriated by the crap ring-pulls on the tins of mackerel that inevitably separate from the tin before even starting to reveal the fishy goodness?

No, there's a knack involved , which once mastered means it all goes well.

The knack, gently lever the pull ring uo a little ( I use a knife), insert you finger and use the principle of the lever not brute force to fully open it.

At least you had nice knickers on Gretchen biggrin

Anyhoo back to the thread. We love the mini magnum ice creams. Big versions just a bit sickly but the small ones are great as a little post dinner treat.

Had the choc eclairs today but the choux pastry was a tad cardboard. Not great.

I can eat the mini ones in one mouthful though, so you need a couple..

I had one fail on a tin of Aldi sardines last week. After I hacked it off with a tin opener I found another lid underneath. By the time I'd hacked my way through that one I'd gone off sardines...

Lidl have a seriously good (and very cheap) white wine on offer. It's an unusual Hungarian: Chateau Dereszla Tokaji Amethyst Furmint, £4.99. A cracker.

Anyone tried their fifty quid fire pit. Haven't seen it yet and wondered about it's build quality.

I’ve just bought a standard Olive Tree from Home Bargains for £7.99.

Aldi have a nice looking (in the advert) outdoor log burner in this week at £59.99. I think it would sit nice on my entertaining area - kids are begging to differ.

Woman behind me this evening was purchasing a frozen Chicken and Mango flatbread pizza - anyone tried this yet?

Aldi ‘wedges’ were always fine until recently (I know.. I should make my own..) but the last couple of bags have tasted like they are made from pretty rank potatoes
