Would normally avoid stuff like this like the plague, but based on the prior posts have currently got one of the above burger boxes "resting" in my fridge ready for cooking tomorrow. If I have the sts on Wednesday I'm blaming this forum smile
Same here, I bought 2!!!

Well, cooking as per the instructions I can report that I have never ever prior to this evening put a burger in the oven to cook and I don't think that I will again.

On the plus side, they're not unpleasant at all and I don't have the sts so that's a bonus.

On the minus side I probably could have done a better job for the same money or realistically less.

That was my thought when I picked the box up in-store last week. I felt that Aldi sell the premium quality components for less, and I've have better choice, e.g. I really like those spicy little Monterey Jack burger melts they do, and prefer the seeded brioche burger buns.

I didn't fancy the oven option so grilled them.

Spotted this today, cost about 89p and it's pretty good. They do jerky too, much cheaper than other places where it's about £1.80 for a similar bag.

I bought this from their much expanded 'food you haven't heard of and didn't know you wanted' section today.

I figured that I like chocolate, I like peanut butter, I like coconut and I like honey.

I was wrong.

The flavours are competing way too hard.

I've had the 'just peanut butter' stuff by that company and it was absolutely minging, it got binned.

Just the list of ingredients together sounds like ew.

Wagyu rib and sirloin back in, are they that much better than the 30 day stuff?

I can't find them anywhere around our way, but we do live in a Aldi black hole. Nearest ones are Weymouth, Poole, Shepton or Amesbury, so it always involves a trip.

Just had a £45 mystery wine box delivered from Aldi. 8 bottles of red, 2 white, 1 rose and a fancy organic prosecco. Retail was about £70 for the lot so a good bargain.

I get 2 x flagons of Crompton Oak cider at about the same discount from my local One Stop - difference being is that it's not a mystery and I know that I love it wink

Enjoy wink

Weirdly I just had the same and was underwhelmed, although in fairness I did cook it myself which would have limited its chances somewhat.

Picked up a few steaks for last night, normally go with the 30 day Angus but decided the 21 day "normal" steak looked better so bought a mix. All cooked exactly the same then cut them all in half and blind tasted on 4 of us. We all preferred the 21 day.

Nothing wrong with the Angus but the cheaper steak was better in terms of marbling so texture was softer with a richer flavour. And that's after I went through two boxes of the Angus the find the best of them.
