Persimmons are delicious.
Bit meh for me, bit middle of road fruit nothing special. Much prefer the pommigrants on offer.

Pejorative Australian term for new arrivals?

I was told that the cut allows the fart gasses to escape.

After my biennial falling out with Lidl last week after a long build up of shortcomings and me spitting my dummy out, I did my regular weekly shop at Morrison's.

I felt like an Ossi visiting a Western supermarket for the first time after the wall came down.

The bill came to the same as usual but as I was able to get a full shop without having to go elsewhere to pick up shortages, so in real terms it was cheaper.

And I got some decent steaks.

Bye.

Don't listen to him, General.

He's desperately trying to combine face-saving, convincing himself and a flounce.

Tbf, it was a nicer experience, wide aisles like Grand Boulevards rather than narrow Streets, no pallets and boxes littering the place, so much space, so much choice and a one stop shop. I'm trying to remember why I started to go back to Lidl the last time I spat my dummy out with them and moved to Morrison's and Sainsbury's for several months?

Good selection of craft beers on offer at Lidl when I went in today, bought myself a small selection to try:

I'm avoiding Aldi at the moment because of the return of Sloe Gin mince tarts. They're just too good.
