We had baked beans with takeaway pizza yesterday and so ordered a medium instead of a large.

Any other ideas of what to have with other takeaways??

Must be quick to prepare as otherwise defeats the purpose of getting the takeaway!!

If me and the Misses go out to a Ask/prezzo/zizizizi type place we will
Always get a pizza and a salad to share, since that I can't have a pizza without salad so if we are beIng lazy we will order a takeaway pizza and just make a quick rocket Parmesan balsamic glaze salad to go with it!

Tzatziki with a curry. Low fat natural yoghurt, diced cucumber (peeled if you can be bothered) dash of lime juice, pinch of salt and cayenne if you have some.

Or just knock up a salad of some description, as above. . .

Stuff with pulses (from tins) but these need a few fresh ingredients too. Try:

1 can chick peas, drained and rinsed
1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
2 sticks celery, finely diced
3 spring onions, finely chopped
1 tbs sesame seeds
a good squeeze of lemon juice
a glug of toasted sesame oil

or

1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can sweetcorn, drained
a few ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
1 red onion, finely chopped
1 red pepper, de-seeded and finely chopped
a fresh chilli if you have it, finely chopped
fresh coriander if you have it, finely chopped
a glug of olive oil
balsamic vinegar to taste
