The Tesco one had more Chicken flavour? I admit to a few beers having been drunk whilst posting .....
I've got another can of soup for tonight as well. Might end up being called Blue Whale and tarragon flavour rather than seafood chowder
The reason your post struck a chord with me is that I'm quite enjoying that programme on Tuesdays, C4 at 8pm where they blind taste a load of foods and score them to see whose is the best - Try before you buy, is it?
Some interesting 'results' with Aunt Bessie's apple pie scoring higher than fresh supermarket ones and Gordon's Gin beating fancy ones etc. Certainly made me think!

Oh well I opened up my can of Sainsburys Seafood Chowder but it seems to be more Seafood Chunder. I could not actually see any seafood in it. This is sad as the Sainsburys asparagus soup is very good. Lets get real though, this is a can of "fish" for £1. Not going to be bouillabaisse. So time to read the cupboard to add to what this is, actually a good fish stock they have produced inadvertently.
1 whole chili from the freezer
Some mint from the garden
prawns from the freezer
squid from the freezer
fish sauce splash of, oops too much, as always
some egg noodles from the cupboard
At this point I seemed to be making a fish chowder crossed with a fish ramen soup. So I added an egg for sts and giggles Which sort of fell apart, bloody boiled eggs...
Anyhow not bad at all considering the initial starting point.

Chicken
Score breasts diagonally about 1/3 deep
Stuff slashes with lemon thyme
Season
3 thin slices of lemon on top
Splash of olive oil
Roll tightly in cling film, put in fridge for a few hours
Risotto
90g Arborio rice per person
Finely dice 1/2 onion
Finely chop 2 garlic cloves
1/2 jar of roasted peppers (or roast your own!)
1/2 jar of roasted artichoke
A few mushrooms (I used stake)
Litre or so of veg stock, I added a few saffron strands, keep hot in a pan
Finely grated Parmesan
Gently fry the onions , mushrooms and garlic until soft
Add rice, cook for 3-4 minutes
Add glass of white wine, cook off
Gradually add stock, keep stirring, until rice nearly cooked
Add peppers / artichoke / parmesan
Cook until rice as you like it
Poach chicken (still wrapped in cling film) in simmering water for 15-18 minutes
Unwrap and sear off in a hot pan to colour
Slice chicken
Remove any larger thyme sprigs
