It's out of an Indian cook book, I'll try and post a picture. It's very easy and a great way to jazz up vegetables

Rabbit braised in olive oil, white wine, saffron, garlic, spices (smoked paprika and dried oregano).

Served with bomba rice, roasted sweet peppers and cherry tomatoes.

Some more roasted veg with bulgar wheat, this time under Nigella's crispy cornflake chicken. The chicken is marinated in Dijon mustard, egg, cinnamon and garlic with smoked paprika in the cornflakes.

Damn I jealous of people in this thread. With 2 young kids and a 3 shift work pattern I'm lucky if I get a ham sandwich at lunch and a jacket potato for dinner.

How did the chicken turn out? Was going to try it myself.

It would work well on those little fillet goujons you can get, without needing to flatten them.

Sure.

In this case I opted for squid, king prawns, chunks of cod and sprats.

Make a good seasoned flour and make sure there's some corn, rice or potato starch in there, some sugar, salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika etc

If your seafood isn't very wet, wet it a little with cold water to allow the flour to stick and clump a little. Press it in to the pieces to get an uneven terrain.

Knock off any excess and deep fry in very hot oil for no more than 2 mins. Drain, season, plate.

I had lemon mayonnaise, parsley and sweet chilli which all worked well.

Don't spend a fortune on your seafood. I went to the Chinese supermarket for frozen squid tubes and prawns otherwise it would've cost a fortune off the market.
