Wifey makes superb Yorkies but a dozen is far too many for a Sunday for two of us!! At the end of the day it's just a pancake mix done in the oven.

Nice with Danish Blue cheese as well thumbup
Not sure about the cheese but left over yorkies with jam happens here too, delicious!
Left over yorkies plus maple syrup, enough maple syrup and it's like that scene from Super Troopers.

Some inspiration from Jamie Oliver this evening.

Sopa Negra, Costa Rican Black Bean Soup with Pico de Gallo.

Fair enough. I must admit now on closer inspection it doesn’t look very appetising :-)

Was tasty however.

That looks ace to me.

Black beans have a great meaty taste & a runny egg yolk is perfect for me.

That looks ideal for this weather - light, with minimal cooking. What's the dressing, balsamic? I've sometimes add chilli and garlic (grinder) and lime juice. Add cold beer.

Ha thinking the same here - I really don't want to like it but the results look fantastic.

Doesn't really matter does it so long as it's long enough?

Did someone say sous vide?

The Chefsteps Joule is now available in the UK on Amazon. Great bit of kit.

I have an Anova and have used it... 3 times. It’s a complete faff as you have to plan a long time in advance. Results are “ok” but nothing really different to those that I can achieve without it. Perhaps I’m doing it wrong.

Errm yeah, not messing about with that - a proper, basic solution would be?
