Yeah I did realise that after I posted it, but thought what the hell, things can't get much worse!

3kg of minced lamb mixed up with some herbs and spices and then rolled in cling film into the shape. I then vac bagged it and slow cooked it (in my slow cooker) for about 6 hours to make sure it was fully cooked. Then out and slipped on the re-bard before searing over a stupidly hot BBQ to get some nice colour going as bits were sliced off. The recipe is dead simple and tastes almost exactly like the 'propper' stuff but less dirty. I realise that last comment further seals my fate.

I have tried to do a better job this evening. Chinese ordered and consumed.

Sweet and sour sauce
Satay sauce
Singapore rice noodles
Sweet and sour chicken HK style
Crispy chili chicken
Beef szchuan
Egg fried rice



Will the Chinese and the home made kebab ala re-bar get me slightly back on track?

Hummm curry, for 6. This was round 1.

No photos, but they would only look the same as the previous ones I've posted (creature of habit).

But tonight a new kebab was consumed.

Following on from the murder kebab, I've had a conciliatory guilt kebab!

Minor argument with wife on the way out of the house. Text to apologise batted away. Phone call about ambiguous dinner plans leads to 'butter grumpy husband up with takeaway' kebab.

Double win. Kebab and tacit admission of wrongness in one tasty package.

I think GG was binned after one too many spats on the football forum. Shame, he packed a lot into a fruit bowl!

I never remember to take pictures of food. My local fish and chip shop makes a dirty cod (very old frozen pollock) and finest aged to no perfection chips.
