I whizzed through a bottle of the 9 pound von last month. Was OK, smooth etc.

Will save up for other things in future.

Stocked up with a bottle of tanq 10, and a local brew called jacks gin which is just lovely!!

I have 47, need to get them to 50 before the year is out.

The wife said I have a problem. I did point out that Gin was a solution not a problem.
Er... you're supposed to drink them...

I do. Probably no more than 1-2 glasses a week though.
I think the problem is a buy them faster than I drink them. It's the male collecting thing...

Are you in the craft gin club? I’ve never seen anyone else with a bottle of Windspiel before

it's a good point. Alcohol evaporates from an open bottle so the longer it is open (I have heard ~18 months is about the open lifetime) the less booze it will have in it. It might be a nice idea in a way to have a stload of open bottles but in reality you are wasting a lot.

I'm having a bit of a cleardown so whilst on holiday in cornwall so have brought 3 open bottles with me!

Yup. Get it once a quarter.
I spotted the Siderit and a couple of others in yours.
didn't appreciate the Windspiel until I tried Monkey47, quite similar. I'm thinking the Cheap Aldi blackforest one might be the same style as well.

I'm slipping, not sipping - as I drink more than I buy! Stocks are low! laugh

Heading to Canada on business next week, so abour to buy a couple of bottles of Schramm Gin online to be posted to my hotel in Toronto. It's from a small batch distillery in Pemberton, B.C., and remains the best tasting gin I've ever had. thumbup

I didn't really like conker, tried it at a local tasting.
Can't remember why though.
You're the 2nd person to recommend Botanist recently.

I have the Windspiel premium reserve gin, and the matching tonic water, although to be honest it’s more a sipping gin. It’s an addiction, I see a new gin of interest and I buy it, I did consider the Craft Gin Club, but I was concerned over duplicates, and having to wait a month. I’m up to 135 now, and I’ve set myself a limit of 150, I’m sure the urge will still be there when I hit it, I think running out of space will dictate when its time to stop. I already have two dedicated wine coolers and a 6ft fridge to keep them nicely chilled and in the dark :-)
Tonic wise I thought I could just stick with Fever Tree as my go to, however collectivitis has struck and I’ve got around 20 different tonics as well, gives me brain ache all the different permutations, and garnishes are another matter! My friends think I have an alcohol problem, but like many on here I only have one or two a week at most, I just like variety :-). Did I mention I also collect Champagne?

Least there’s no need to bring a bottle :-). Lol
Anyone tried Nolets Gold? I’m seriously tempted but it’s a bit pricey, and quite hard to track down.

I think I see Silent Pool and Tarquins in there. A bottle of either of those lasts days in our house.

My personal favourite is still Four Pillars. They do a navy strength if that's your thing and they also do a Bloody Shiraz which is like drinking Ribena, our first bottle was gone in a couple of days.

Whilst in Spain recently spotted this for €12 a bottle.

Very nice for the money, polished a bottle off there so shoved a couple in my case to come home with.

Can't grumble for the money!

Anyone tried Sharish Blue Magic Gin yet?

I had a one a couple of weeks ago - tasted good - interesting colour!

Hortus from Lidl decent value IMO.

Yes. Extreme left of my photo above. I liked it more for the bottle and colour than the flavour, which was good just didn't get me too excited.
Hortus is very good for the price.
