Already have a bottle of the Oaked Makar, picked it up in Edinburgh airport last year, very nice.
Will check the other out.

I've finished the Ophir, Caorunn, Thomas Dakin and Jaw Box and I'm due to open my Roku Gin this weekend smile I'm thinking of trying Jinzu next, along with Bath Tub and Hobbs as I was on a bar crawl through Henley last weekend and liked those that I tried en route smile

For me, although the taste will always win, the style of the bottle is also something that draws me in smile

Also, I think I'm doing it wrong after reading all of this thread - I buy a bottle, finish it within a month, then buy another. Most on here seem to have collated quite a collection and skim between bottles, trying different ones each time rather than finishing one entirely before trying another.

I'm going to have to buy a bigger shelf wink

i'd have assume that the scottish bit refers to the gin, not to the ..... liddles.

I purchased a bottle of Star of Bombay a few months ago and was very pleasantly surprised. It isn't cheap but it really does give a nicer flavour vs their regular Bombay Sapphire.

To be extent that I have decided to switch over to keeping this one in stock rather than the more regular stuff. Are they other types of gin which are similar but better at around the same price point?

Is this a special edition of Scapegrace gin? I have a bottle that looks the same, cardamom heavy but nice.

Bought a bottle of limited edition salcombe gin today.

300 bottles made for the crab fest. Very nice! Bit pricey mind...

Looks like Scapegrace is just the UK name for it as they couldn't use Rogue Society for some local copyright reason. Same stuff in the bottle!

We bought one of the 'normal' Salcome Gins when on holiday there last year, only opened int last week. Wasn't overly fussed for it, especially for the money.

Ah really, its probably my favourite, especially with grape fruit. Thats £40 a bottle now though so not cheap.

We're going to give it another go with grapefruit tonic, hopefully that will improve it for us.

Well a month after discovering Gin, I’m starting to build a nice healthy collection.

Monkey 47 with Mediterranean Fevertree is my favourite, with Drurys being my easy weeknight tipple.

Silent Pool and Whitley Neil Rhubard and Ginger are on the shopping list.
