I've had cereal, soup, 2 cups of tea and a pint of milk so far today.
I think i can still taste it yuck
Try things that are acidic and without the milk. Apple juice or neat lemon juice watered down 50/50.

All very clean on here of late, I just had a chicken shawarma from Leeds market, it was excellent and has no place here. However as a token gesture...

I (much) prefer sausage rolls and pork pies to the above (shudder).

agree whole heartedly. the tripe shop is just weird. gizzards and offal and some bits and bobs that a totally unidentifiable . why folks want to eat this baffles me.

cuz people like different tastes/textures innit. I don't like tripe or offal because I am not a fan of the chewy texture. from what i've heard many chinese people do like that chewy texture.

Absolutely, I noticed someone else in there doing them now in that open foody bit but at £3.50 and friendly service I'm happy to be loyal.

They have another place down by the Corn Exchange called Caravanserai, a few different items on the menu and well worth trying.

Donner Meat & chips is the Weightwatchers approved version of a proper Munchie Box. I learned about this Scottish delicacy after a few days working in Uddingston, and a couple of the workshop staff got one every lunchtime, with a 2l bottle of Irn Bru to wash it down.

To clarify, it was a munchie box each, not between them. Every day I was there...

It's also very advisable to stay away from workshop toilets when their diet consists of mainly of deep fried products.
I think the equivalent of that here in Australia is the halal snack pack. A layer of chips topped with cheese and then doner meat, then sauce (garlic, chilli...) slathered over the top. The fats from the meat and cheese get absorbed by the chips. If take away it'll be in the normal kebab foam box but some places to serve it in pizza boxes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halal_snack_pack

Went to the market for the first time in years last week. The open bit looks good, had some grub from Manjit's Kitchen which was rather decent. Will probably be a new spot for lunch in future given the handy parking across the road in Victoria Gate.

Utter filth smile

I've been on a burger binge over the past week or so, results below:

Patty Smiths "Dirty Burger" - looks terrible in photos , tastes great.

Local pizza takeaway, does traditional style pizza very well but I prefer my pizza with an inch of toppings so opt for their burgers. This us the 1/2lb with garlic mushrooms.

Then last night it was the turn of another local place, this one had a chicken burger between two beef burgers, cheese and too much mayo. I can still taste the onion this morning.

Belgrave music hall in Leeds, amazing burgers. Regularly go to gigs in Leeds and this is my usual pre gig meal.

Absolutely, one of these and a tray of their "session fries" washed down with a decent beer, it's a great venue.
