Looks good to me.
How you lot put that in the same category as a plate of cum is beyond me. I'd gladly polish off that curry.
+1, looks like the inside of most pies. No problem with it!How you lot put that in the same category as a plate of cum is beyond me. I'd gladly polish off that curry.

None of the above! It’s actually the special from a chippy, despite how it looks it was fking lovelydavster said:
What area of Leeds are you from giblet?
Have you managed to find a replacement for the shawarma shop up near the library pub? I'd be interested if so. A few popped up a couple of years ago (shawarma Dubai on kirkstall road) and another in meanwood but since closed.
Venus supermarket is good but the lamb isn't spiced anything like a Lebanese shawarma is, although the kofte is very good.
There is a place further up the road called shawarma king or something along them lines but I've not tried it yet.
Island grill is good for Caribbean food too
Near West Park, but work in Beeston. Yet to find a suitable replacement within the same distance. Caravenserai do a good chicken shawarma but parking is a faff, they have a place in the market called Cafe Moor. Have you managed to find a replacement for the shawarma shop up near the library pub? I’ve driven passed King Of Shawarma a few times recently, going to try and check it out soon.
Shawarma Dubai used to be really good, there is a place on Stonegate Road called Shawarma Al Shami but I wasn’t impressed by it.
Was pretty good but don't feel so good now... stuffed!
£24 worth of;
Chicken tikka jakfrezi
Chicken bhuna
2 x special rice
Onion bhajis
Mattar paneer
Some sort of tandoori paneer thing (to get us over £30 for 20% off)
Naan (didn't order, assume free)
Not the best but still enjoyable and much cheaper than our usual (not cheap round these parts).

Not a takeaway, but feels more at home here than the "dinner" thread.
Crispy Pork, duck and rice. Wong Kei. Chinatown in that London
nope, it might not be some kind of posh roast, expsnsive medium rare steak or fancy mushroom risotto but it still belongs in the dinner thread, just ignore the criticism from the people who think they're better then others.Crispy Pork, duck and rice. Wong Kei. Chinatown in that London
looks so good though.

when I lived in London (early 90s) it seemed like the best of its type and was constantly buzzing - today it was empty but the plate of food did the business.Wong Kei, Rusholme Chippy, Yang Sing and St John are constants in my life over the last 20 plus years and continue to hit the spot when required.

Not quite shawarma but I find Yorkshire Charcoal Fresh in Horsforth is a good out of town kebab option.
