phone I'd complain!

You can tell when the regular chef is off, and somebody else ends up covering him - no consistency in many places!!

Try Charco's or Rajas, chap. If their menu takes your fancy.

Just go to fazenda.
Pricey ( compared to the takeaways on this thread) but it's basically a restaurant where they throw meat at you for as long as you can shovel it down. yum

Miah’s Kitchen in Leeds
Jeez, it's not that long ago that Miah's was the highest rated Indian on Tripadvisor, I'd noticed they had popped up on Just Eat the other day, usually a sign of desperate times, much like a Groupon.

I've started using A M Kitchen in the centre now but there is no delivery option as far as I'm aware - http://www.amkitchenandbar.com

I'd probably go with Deliveroo and have Almost Famous every night if I was stuck in town and didn't want to go out smile

Crispy Pork, duck and rice. Wong Kei. Chinatown in that London.
We ate there last week. Really really good food!

Are the waiters / waitresses still rude to customers? That was part of the experience and appeal.

I was sat next to a very attractive American woman in the early 90s and she asked for won ton noodle soup, but without the soup - just the noodles and dumplings.

The bloke looked at her and said very quietly with a strong accent - "I have never heard anything so stupid in my life"

If you would like good Chinese with abrasive staff, there is a place called Dragon Castle in Elephant and Castle which does fantastic dim sum during the day and where the waiters are extremely grumpy and hate all of their customers.

The squid is particularly good.
