Amusingly, on the page after CSV there's a grumble that a particular picture is not dirty enough and not in the spirit of the thread. That was 7 years ago. The more things change...

Not strictly filth but Subway are doing Sub of the Day again for £2.50. Just had the Meat Feast (meatballs, pepperoni and ham) and it was very nice.
Just had that, messy af, also very stingy with the portions now. Only one slice of ham and the meatballs were cut in half.

I think I may have posted this before but this should get us back on track.

Breakfast for £5.00 I’d already eaten half of it.

Glorious.

Those complaining about the content need to post some content that meets their standards to back up their rants, in my eyes a photo of food to be discussed amongst my takeaway enthusiast peers is a bonus, I don't care if it's served on the left nipple of a washed virgin in a space ship and eaten with a pair of chopsticks whittled from the bones of Jesus, post away people.

Then be ready for a critique on your choice of plate, cutlery, boxer shorts or duvet cover.
My thoughts exactly

Did you have the 6" laugh I went footlong, only 4 (full) meatballs mind but 2 slices of ham and a full row of pepperoni. Although I did have to tell him to add more marinara sauce. In my opinion they're made to maintain margin whilst driving footfall, not to act as a loss leader. For 4.50 I can't really complain for a footlong. If I get a Chicken Pizziola with bacon I'm looking at 7quid. I think that will be my new Wednesday lunch when I'm in the UK now.

yeah, went for a 6". Before they use to fold their ham and on a footlong you would get 6 slices and loads of full meatballs. I get it's cheap and they need to make a profit but the ingredients they use is bottom of the barrel stuff already.

Out of all the fast food chains they are probably the worst in terms of quality and nutrients.

that mixed doner looks good. It's been a while since I've had one. last time i did they annoyingly put the toasted pita bread in a separate piece of rolled up paper. when I got home I slipt it open, tipped the container over, put it on the bottom and tipped it back so that all the grease could be soaked up by it, the proper way it should've been done. to be fair to them the container was jam packed with doner meat, so wasn't really any room.

Wow, those last couple of posts are proper filthy takeaways. I'd feel bad feeding that to the neighbours dog.

In other news I am 'recce-ing' a new takeaway catering establishment after work. In a lay-by.
