I'm in Brno at the moment and ventured into a McDonalds at lunchtime. So many fun new things to try! So I went for the Swiss King. Totally amazing; the bun has cheese and bacon stuck to it! Stuffed with a patty, bacon, some kind of unidentifiable swiss cheese and a potato pancake. Best thing ever.

I’m back in the game! Had a Domino’s this week, but didn’t photograph any of it. Large meatfielder pizza (pepperoni, ham, chorizo, pork meatballs and smoked bacon rashers, but swapped the pepperoni and chorizo for ground beef and mushrooms), 7 chicken kickers with some Frank’s hot sauce, garlic bread and 1.25 litres of full fat orange Fanata. I ate it all, apart from about a quarter of the pizza, which I ate for breakfast the following day - cold, from the box, standing in the kitchen, in my pants. Stay classy, San Diego...

I also had the following, via Just Eat, from a Chinese. The salt and pepper wings had been a bit “meh” the last couple of times, but they’re back on form, I’m pleased to say. They also threw in a bag of prawn crackers, which I shared with The Idiot.

Here we have a salt and pepper chip and chicken combo, chicken satay and a mixed starter. Lovely stuff.

Fellow DTP folks, I have a few questions regarding the recent JE chat.

What makes you pick JE over using the takeaway directly?

What is it about JE that you like? What do you dislike?

What would make you move away from JE? If your local takeaway were to get their own app and website which is cheaper for them would you use it?

I will always use the takeaway's own website if they have one.

I'll use their own site if they have one

Noticed most of the places round here moving over to foodhub.co.uk which is commission free, it also seems to setup/host their own site if they want it. In fact, more on here now that on Just eat.

Small one (cheese and tomato) for Mrs Bigmon, big one (salami) for me.

Of course, being from Waitrose, they aren't called that so I meant to say wood-fired buffalo mozzarella & sun soaked tomato pizza and wood-fired spicy Calabrian pizza.
