This is one for the Gavin & Stacey fans. Kate Ovens eats smithy's indian takeaway order.

I didn't watch it all, but the portions are a bit cheaty... She's clearly the emptied at least 2/3rds of the curries out before serving them.
Strictly speaking, he added Sag Aloo at the end of it so she's not done the "challenge" as it were! getmecoatnerdnerd

Agree ref the portions too!

The wife of one of my mates is about 5'6" and I doubt she weighs 7 stone... but bloody hell, she can eat. Never seen another woman put food away like she does (other than the video above!)
Used to travel down to London with work years ago. We'd meet up in the evening for a meal somewhere with a few drinks afterwards. First time there, the food arrived whilst I was at the bar getting some drinks. By the time I got back to the table, 4 mins tops, one of the Directors had a couple of chips and a bit of his steak left!! He almost inhaled it! Never seen anyone eat so fast, apart from these vloggers of course. I did ask if he'd actually tasted anything? He just burped!

R.e. Beard meats food, I know Adam and he doesnt puke it up and can realy pack away the grub too. he isnt a personal trainer but does work out a lot and when not doing the food challenge stuff he eats very healthily , he also uses herbal turd softeners to help the exit lol . there is one funny vid on his you tube channel showing the aftermath of a big challenge too , its not pretty . hes a good bloke and a local lad too . he did brilliantly recently beating Matt stonie in the world poutine eating championship in canada , and did great in the 4th july nathans hot dog comp in the usa and i think is the only brit to win a qualifier to get into the final at coney island . placed pretty well considering who was on stage too .

This and the chinese mixed chow mein bowl on the previous page mean it is chinese tonight! Looks YUM, especially the chemical red colour.
Well done. Have been known to just order 3 pancake rolls for my evening soupcon.

As I was eating the pizza, I was reminded about the scam going on where some takeaways are using cheaper fake cheese, made out of vegetable oil.
I think I’d submit this takeaway for a sample, either that or it’s just really st cheese.

5/10. It has to look at least the same, whether going in, or coming out, or it’s just not quite dirty enough.

Yep, that looks like something I scraped out of my radiator, 9/10. It would have been a ten, if you’d been eating it out of an old boot / the floor / the toilet.

I've got a big Asian supermarket/cash & carry near me where all the takeaway places buy their stuff, from meat and rice to foam packaging and everything inbetween. They've got every vegetable under the sun, stuff you've never seen before in your life, not to mention 17 different types of lemon juice (I counted!), dates from about 12 different countries, and all your fake bacon and associated halal turkey based 'meats'.

They have one type of cheese. It seems cheese is something they just don't do, so it would come as absolutely no surprise if takeaways were using some sort of fake cheese to go with the fake ham on your pizza. smile

I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it before, but there was a cop from the Niagara Regional Police in Canada who was busted in an undercover sting for smuggling cheese and chicken wings across the border from the USA to Canada... it seems cheese is much more expensive in Canada than the USA.
