Strawpedo.
Awww, First one ever at Nottingham university Jubilee Campus, year 2000.

Almost 20 years ago now eek
Used to do 3 bottles of Reef in one go as it was 3 for a fiver (I think) at a pub I started drinking at in 2003 when I turned 18 and didn't have to stick to local pubs as I was finally old enough!
Reef! That brings back memories! I can remember downing bottle after bottle using the straw technique in an Aussie pub in Shepherds Bush about 20 years ago.

I got thrown out in the end because I got on the stage and tried to take the mic off the singer of the band they had on that evening as I thought I’d do a better job!
Decoda is another alcoholic soda water

It’s ok you got some back up there, just drink them until your sick of it then savour the relief when the perroni hits the back of your throat,

Anyway pizzas here ,

That looks like a good kebab shop pizza!

Those Carlsberg's slip down a treat! A bit "thin" tasting but good for a day session, although not a patch on proper strength lagers.

What’s the general consensus folks, are we still ordering takeaways as normal or are we cutting back in light of the impending apocalypse?

Seems everyone is offering no contact deliveries when you pay by card

Yes but will it be on the bag it comes in and there’s a recommendation not to use cash as the virus is on coins. Or is this just more paranoid hysteria?

I’ll be getting a takeaway on Friday night, support the local businesses!

If you don't touch the packaging, plate the food and give it a zap in the microwave, I don't think you've put yourself in any increased 'danger'.

Or if you do touch the packaging, bin it outside straight away and immediately wash your hands, I think you're fine.

Strawpedo.
A mate was always known for his strawpedo’s back in the day, so on his stag weekend the challenge was basically to strawpedo everything.
Chants of ‘pedo, pedo, pedo..’ were used until we realised it might give the wrong impression.

Or you could just treat it the same as you would when anything was handed to you by a stranger.

Put the packaging in the bin, then wash your hands.

My first post on this thread as a long-time lurker and occasionally horrified admirer of Eski's work. It's frankly our moral duty to support local businesses in these amazing times. From my self-isolated position I'll be throwing some money Chutney Massalla's way come Friday.
Use them or lose them!

I'm the opposite. I'm WFH. I'm contemplating merely seeing how cheaply i can live off food and count my calories. even if i bought buns and quarter pounders from the supermarket and made them myself they will taste miles better, be cheaper, and ill know whats gone into them.

Some interesting replies to my question. I’ve been trying to cut down whilst I’m attempting to shift some timber but given my asthma I’ll probably end up ordering some deliveries.

Double piri burger meal that I had yesterday, extra hot to clear out the sinuses. Acts as a great decongestant!
