I'd been wondering about that one. The colour makes it look really interesting, https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/speyside/bei...

Unfortunately not, I did ask for somebody else's feed back on it earlier in the thread but they didn't reply, so I'll ask you what you think of it? I had a bottle of the 100% Islay last year and that was Machir Bay but to the power of 10!!!! Thanks for the feed back Joat, I've just grabbed a bottle of A'bunadh for £49.99 before It's no longer available for that price, had a bottle well over a decade ago so let's see how it compares!!! Think my next purchase will be either a Loch Gorm or a Sanaig but won't be until the end of June now!!!
Sorry for not having replied to the recent Loch Gorm enquiry, I haven't opened it yet due to an overload of work trying to refurbish my flat and having too many bottles of malt on go at present already.
As for the Aberlour A'bunadh pricing....I've bought seven or so in the last couple of years, in Waitrose they appear at £49.99 and then get sold off at £36.00 or less a few months later...a waiting game that never fails and frankly recent batches haven't been as good as the mid 40's numbers.
How they end up at £140+ on other sites is beyond me...tempted to sell some older ones off if people are paying that strong money though?

No worries about the reply, it's nice to hear from you now!! Good luck with selling them, although I wouldn't hold your breath, it seems that unless it's something increadibly rare or a special bottling of something mainstream the auction houses don't bother replying, I've asked to auction my bottle of the original bottling of Aberfeldy 25year old in its wooden presentation box and had no response, they're currently on Whisky Exchange for £350 a bottle!!!As for the Aberlour A'bunadh pricing....I've bought seven or so in the last couple of years, in Waitrose they appear at £49.99 and then get sold off at £36.00 or less a few months later...a waiting game that never fails and frankly recent batches haven't been as good as the mid 40's numbers.

That looks interesting!https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/speyside/bei...
My latest bottles on the back of Ralfy reviews. Plus a couple of samples to try and persuade my palate to like some peat smoke - I drank them last weekend - can't say I'm swaying much! I've had a Lagavulin 1999 Distillers edition before, and enjoyed the way it turned sweet after the initial smokeyness. I didn't seem to get that here. Edit to add - the samples are Bowmore No 1 and Lagavulin 2000 Distillers Edition.
This arrived yesterday; my fourth bottle and the last one I can find anywhere online. It's just so delicious with beautiful confectionary notes, guess I have a sweet tooth!
Will the new Macallan announced a few days ago be available...?

I’m going through Gatwick in a week - anyone know of anything with looking at in duty free at the moment?
Last time I went through I got a bottle of Glen Scotia 16 year old, and am absolutely loving it.Nearly gone now though, so might have to get another one.
Here's a review for it....
