Any recommendations? Have 4 nights coming up early March. Need to find some sort of Man vs. Food type place at very least.

Any more? Heading back again next weekend. Not a fan of deep dish.

Going to try Smith & Wollensky and an upscale Chinese place.

Do try a pizza... Pequod's is widely regarded as the best in town and maybe not what you'd consider traditional deep dish; avoid Giordanos, Lou Malnati etc.

Kuma's Corner for burgers and you've got the Revolution tap room around the corner too.

Gibson's is a classic place for (fancy) steak. Some guy in a bar recommended BoeufHaus to me last time I was there, but I haven't had chance to try it myself yet.

I like Coast on Damen for sushi - BYOB.

edit: I also like Lou Mitchell's for breakfast. It's a bit touristy but for somewhere decent close to the Loop I find myself going there a lot.

Smith and W is great but I think Harry Caray steakhouse on W Kinzie is even better, great atmosphere too. Devon Seafood Grill if you like fish, can't remember exactly where it is but not far from the Magnificent Mile. And for breakfast try the Tempo Cafe on E Chestnut - you won't need lunch!
If you have time check out Buddy Guy's for some blues. Howl at the Moon is probably the best bar in town, get there early-ish to avoid the very long queue to get in.

I've been going to Chicago every year for about the last 15 years. Never gets boring!

RPM Steak - best steak I've ever had in the US.

RPM Italian is good too - they are two separate restaurants .... as we found out wink

Went to Imperial Lamian this week, probably one of the best Chinese I have had, not cheap mind.

Agreed - a bloody great night - duelling pianos is always huge fun.

It's very, very good, but pricey and somewhat formal.

Both in River North, a great area for bars, restaurants, etc. I used to go there every month for 18 months and never got bored with the food and drink selection - a brilliant city!
