Definitely become more popular in the last couple of years, it's appeared in pubs that aren't really ale pubs. Which isn't a bad thing, as it's a very decent bottle to go for!

The snobs and pompous can sniff all they like, but I find it hard to look past a decent crisp lager, chezch/german pils or peroni type, keep all your hoppy art stuff and cooking lagers though. The belgians can tempt me away though.

A lot of CAMRA members turn their noses up at it as being bland and corporate, and completely miss the point that it's really manged to hit the mainstream and get a lot of people drinking proper beer. I quite like it too.

If you are into your IPA's, do yourself a favour and grab some Cloudwater beers, top notch. Unfortunately we cant get them here in Sydney and I'm down to my last can from my haul.

+1 on the Cloudwater beers. My local craft shop can't get enough of it at the moment. Great stuff.

Found Sainsbury's selling Brewdog Electric India in a 4 pack cans for £6

Had it previously a few years ago in a bottle. It's fantastic.

Also the Jet Black Heart Oatmeal Milk Stout is incredible. It looks like Guinness but it's got flavours and depth St James Gate can never produce.

Jet Black Heart is gorgeous, and even nicer from draught yes

Brewdog as a business rubs a lot of folk up the wrong way, but some of their stuff is a real class act - JBH being one example.

Westvleteren is nicer IMO but that is a very good beer and very similar lick

Might be worth swinging past the brewery/cafe if your going in that general direction. 4 of us grabbed 12 each and it works out about £3.50 a bottle otherwise your looking at €15+ in a bar eek

Whenever I'm up in Cumbria I'll have a pint or two of Last Wolf, brewed by Unsworths in Cartmel.

As its 'only down the road' from us quite a few of the local pubs and supermarkets (Asda etc) stock the beers - in fact I have a delivery of a couple of mini kegs (Pure Gold & Bunny Hop) and trays (Lawless & Longhorn) arriving tomorrow beerdrink
I like their Ubu and Mad Goose beers. My favourite at the moment is Church Farms Cape of Good Hops served at my local - http://www.thecapeofgoodhopepub.com/

I'll have to keep an eye out for Westvleteren then, I'm a big fan of the Trappist style, and St Bernadus is one of my favorites

This is a typical weeks shopping for me when I'm working in Holland biggrin

Noted!
Just looked on their website and I need to ring to reserve a crate of them!! 42 Euros for 24 bottles with 12 euros for the box and bottles (Pretty happy to pay this as the box will make a great furniture piece!) Seems like great value as it works out at about £1.95 a bottle.

Enjoyed their recent NEIPA colaboration with Brewdog, New England IPA is a style I'm really enjoying at the moment. Brewdog's own effort Hazy Jane is fantastic too and they've just released another batch of it.

Plenty of quality beers out there now.

As said earlier Brewdog have some quality beers. I prefer the beers that aren't sold through the supermarkets.

My favourite brewer at the moment is the Buxton Brewery. Their Ice Cream Series are brilliant. I'm strongly looking forward to the new brews coming.
