i always use the microwave!
Me too smile dash of water rather than milk and small knobs of butter to 2 eggs - stir 20 seconds in for the first minute then 15 seconds after that. Usually takes 90 seconds in total. Salt and pepper once cooked.

This is the perfect method IMO. No need for milk or cream. Just good quality eggs, butter and salt, towards the end of cooking time.

The perfect consistency, every time.
That just looks as if someone has vomited on the plate. vomit

Another minute in the microwave and it'd be fine wink

They look perfectly cooked.

They look like fairly industrial wishy-washy eggs, though, going by the (lack of) colour...

Thank you Sir.

Yes, the eggs here in Dubai aren't great.

For perfect scrambled eggs it’s my parents’ garden eggs, low and slow in a non stick pan with a knob of butter and a pinch of salt. Golden yolk, no milk no water. I like to melt the butter before pouring the eggs in, beaten with a fork, to a not-that-hot pan so as to let the eggs mix with the butter before anything starts to cook. Stir until the correct consistency which is when there’s no separate liquid left but it won’t stick to a stabbed-in fork.

Seriously though, eggs and microwaves should never meet. Have you ever even had decent scrambled eggs?

I will say that not one hotel I’ve ever been to has cooked scrambled eggs to my liking, so I must not be booking the right ones.

My scrambled egg epiphany was on the orient express on my wife's 50th birthday treat. I have never had them as good since. Very rarely does anyone seem to get it all right, and we may never see the likes again :-)

There's no need for that kind of outrageous hate speech in here, I for one believe scrambled and poached can coexist peacefully. I've eaten both this week (on separate mornings, obviously).

I've never eaten a poached egg. There, I've said it publicly.

I love scrambled, I love omelettes.
I am indifferent about boiled.
I cannot eat fried - they give me utterly lethal farts. Last time I had a friend egg (in a bacon sandwich a mate bought me), I cleared an entire large beer tent the following day.

Kudos to the chap for keeping going with really old eggs and rescuing them in to something edible.

He's got a great channel. Well worth a subscribe. His later stuff is a lot more polished.

Tried the new method of eggs & butter in the pan, non stop whisk on low-ish heat & adding salt and pepper just before cooking.

Easily the better method than previous which was whisk in a plate & add to warm pan

Nice gentle/low heat and constant stiring is the answer.
Yes. And when they're ready, get them out of the pan super quickly to prevent them overcooking in the residual heat.

When making scramble, towards the end, I actually take the pan off the heat before the eggs have finished cooking and then just stir until ready. I like mine "creamy".

2 eggs and a knob of butter in a shallow pan.

Nice and easy.
Also no salt until the end
I must say, after the "You've never had scrambled eggs this good" video that did the rounds, where the only difference I could see was adding salt at the end, I tried it.
In fact, I tried back-to-back (a portion each for MrsC and I), and neither of us could discern any difference. Myth: Busted.

Isn't is something to do with the protein breaking down making a watery consistency

That was indeed the claim by the 'sleb' chef in the video (I forget who it was), but I genuinely couldn't see or taste any difference in a side-by-side.
