Hi all,

A couple of quick pics of the RS3. For those that know (of) me, I've previously owned, a Scirocco R, Golf 7R, F80 M3, AMG A45 all in the span of 4 years!

The car is currently tuned with Revo (Stage 2+) and has KW coilovers with the Armytrix exhaust system, Carbon fibre Arma Speed intake and HPFP. Wheels are forged Ze40s wrapped in Pirelli P-Zeros (very unconvincing tyre in the wet in my opinion). Car is finished with front and side splitters.

More pics on my Instagram at : @joshtrippingwords

Cheers

That is just dreamy cloud9

RS3's look wicked in standard form, but yours has given it even more aggression. What's it like with the mods, and what power are you expecting?

honestly mate one of the nicest RS3 I have seen, you have got it sitting and looking just right in my opinion. the front and side splitters along with those wheels just look mean as hell.

Also how does it compare to the AMG A45?

i think they look utterly dull and far to close the stock car, which is the main reason i didnt replace my RS3 with a new one

however the OPs one does look a lot better than stock, really nice job, ride height is spot on

Cheers guys!

The A45 handled better and it's steering had a tad more feedback, but as an overall package the RS3 has so much character in terms of its engine and willingness to please the moment any throttle input is applied. The tune and performance bits have certainly added to the car's overall charm. The only gripe I have is the numbness in steering. But that has been a typically Audi-esq trait.

A couple of V-box runs registered 3.3 seconds to 100km/h. I do believe these cars were massively undertuned from factory, hence the decent gains.

Cheers. They would be roughly under 20 lbs I'd imagine. not sure about the weight of the stock wheels.

Also mate how did you find the Scirocco R? something that's interested me recently.

The Scirocco R remains to be the most involving car I've ever driven. Nothing beats the front wheel handling. It was also the most heavily modified car I've ever owned. It is the one car I deeply regret selling as it will take me ages to build a platform similar to that from scratch.
