Lifx bulbs offline

Bought one of these as they are meant to be good quality and it goes offline every day. Just googled the issue and im not the only one. Anyone else have experience?

Got one sitting in the cupboard as it decided to not work one day. Deditcated 2 days to trying to get it to work and no responsive from the lifx when i asked for help. My brother has one that has done the same. My advice is get a phillips one.

It was working for a year with its odd time not appearing in the app. Then it just wasnt there and it went into an "error" state. light went to default warm white then pulses bright until you switch it off. I read on a forum it may have to do with them pushing an update out that bricked loads of bulbs but no one seemed to know for sure.

I had so many issues with these in my house I gave up using it. I now have several $80 bulbs I switch on and off at the wall.

If it's not too late see if you can return it...

I have a TP link bulb i had lots of issues with to start with, firmware update seems to have resolved and been spot on ever since.

Any firmware updates for the bulb at all?
