So we aren’t aloud to ask how much something might be worth?

Assume this is one of the ‘new’ rules? 12b.

Isn’t it a little militant?

Most people do it as a veiled 'for sale' thread. Which is not allowed.

You might get away with it if you ask quietly,

And what if you aren’t actually selling something?

Yes read the rules thanks. Hence quoting 12b in my op.

Asking for a valuation on what something (not even a car) might be worth. Doesnt have to mean you are trying to sell something.

And if we look at the rules. 12b actually says this.
“12. Types of Thread/Posts that are not permitted in the forums:

b. Valuation/What's it worth threads in any shape or form, regardless of item.”

Which means this 1000 post plus thread shouldn’t exist. As it is essentially asking what value is a discount worth. Which by the word breaks rule 12b.
