Mcdonalds new ordering system
Discussion
Op here.
Nothing has changed!. Just ordered 18quids worth of food at the till in downham and still waiting for it 10 minutes later. Chased them and finally got the food after 13 minutes.
Place was rammed out with delivery riders.
Food was fine when we got it.but understaffed big time....
Good job its a once a month visit!

whether mcdonalds is good or not aside, do folks really think that the average un-interested 17 yr old they employ when messing around the back messign about with co workers wouldn't let the odd gob go into a burger or something ?
i don't speak from experience but i speak from what lots of people perceive goes on.
especially at a quiet time when the manager is not watching, and someone is complaining about something making them re do it or whatever.
maybe i have too furtive of an imagination.

I’ve had a couple of the Grand Macs now and they are ok. Still think the fries are being undercooked these days though and this was a branch in Leeds and a branch in London.
This morning I had something I have never experienced before though.... double sausage and egg McMuffin with a slightly runny egg yolk!

Too much sauce tbh
I've never been a fan of mac sauce, or any sauce that has been applied in McDonald's before they serve it. I went only cheese and just split a bbq sauce tub over the two patties, I really liked it. I'm glad I've started running 3 times a week again, as I will be having several more before they stop selling them craigjm said:
I don’t understand the putting fried potato on the burger when it comes with fries
The hash brown works in KFC's tower burger quite well, but KFC has terrible chips anyway. BK do the best chips out of the big fast food chains I find, but I very rarely have chips as they are so fattening, especially when coupled with a 1000 calorie burger It's a couple of quid cheaper without the chips and drink.Thesprucegoose said:
Things like this are done to make you realise how perfect normal big Mac is.
Now bring back the MC rib
They do the special editions to raise future prices for normal products and hope nobody notices. Now bring back the MC rib
If, for pretend-example, a Big Mac is £2.00 last week... and you get used to paying £3.00 for a Grand Mac this week... then a relatively large rise to £2.20 for Big Mac next week (after Grand Mac is stopped) will not feel so bad.

A Big Mac for £2.00...... :-)
I remember the price going up to £1.79 for the Mac only.....cost to produce at that time was 17p...!!

not sure how bk and kfc can justify the costs of their burgers compared to mcd's though even if they are better or worse in taste.
