Not if you're an East Coast rapper with a penchant for curvy ladies.

First of all, I think they should be banned purely on the amount of rubbish they create - definitely one of the worst litter offenders.

Your 8 cups of coffee/1 can of red bull analogy. Would you rather have 8 small waves of water lapping at your feet or one large breaker knocking you over? Kids drinking mutiple cans of this stuff is just not healthy.
???

The aluminium cans are much better than the plastic bottles in terms of recycling and damage caused etc.
This may be so, but the problem is that most of them don't find their way in to recycling bins. They're purchased alongside scratchcards by idiots, who chuck them on the ground when they've done with them. Usually a few metres from the shop after necking them in one go.
Lol. People who drink energy drinks are idiots that also engage in littering and low odds gambling.

Around here, yes they are. They go hand in hand with each other and they're the main thing we pick up to bin. Of course, not everyone who buys energy drinks litters, but IME it's the case.

i have 1 a day in the morning at work. I don't always have one.. i might have a lucozade instead or a nutrament(nurishment?) or some other milshake. don't like coffee and not addicted to caffeine, i have a low tolerance of it.

I dont get people who waste money on expensive red bulls and monster. you can buy a can of emerge for 40p or the supermarket branded ones for less. even lidl have their equivalent of the 500ml cans of monster and it's 50p, all taste the same to me.

First time I tried a Red Bull, when the 'Gives you Wings' ads first came out, I got one on the way into the office. Sat at my desk and my mate Ian, who sat opposite, whispers to me, "You can't drink Beer at work!!"
He was so sure I had to show him the can.

Must admit, I wasn't impressed with the taste at all. Rather have a Double Espresso if I want caffeine.

Most 'Energy Drinks' seem very 'cloying / sticky', they coat the mouth rather nastily to me. There again, I don't even like Coca Cola so what do I know?

Years ago I had the bright idea to drink a load of Red Bull to stay awake for the F1. Rather than just get up at 6am...

I had two packs of six and drank them all. I was so sick it was unreal. On the plus side, the smell still makes me feel sick so not drank one since! That was ten/11 years ago now.

I do however like the Lucozade Sport drinks. Normally have one a day when I'm working. Purely for the taste (not sure if they are classed as a energy drink?)

For those who do enjoy a Red Bull, Asda do (or at least did) a copy called Blue Charge, which was less per litre than a Red Bull can. In my younger years I did enjoy the odd Red Bull and Vodka

It's all about the boost/lift they can give, surely? Hence the name, energy...

No one's forcing you to buy or drink them either.

It was a shame when the Rockstar Super Sourz range shrank. The green apple flavour is still available in other countries but not in the UK.

There not, no one drinks these and proclaims how healthy they are!
